When we think of caramel we think of the classic sweet sugary melt in the mouth treat that, regardless of age, is somewhat sentimental and never fails to satisfy.
Starting out with the most gorgeous childrenswear, Founder and Creative Director Eva Karayiannis went on to add womenswear and homeware to the aptly named British company.
Shared, cherished and passed-down through generations. Caramel is all about avoiding cheap throw-away fashion, dodging trends whilst unintentionally setting them and cleverly filling that gap between high-street and high-end fashion.
The Autumn/Winter collection (released today by the way), focuses on easy-to-wear separates, beautiful details and wardrobe staples – very classically Caramel. Also very classically Caramel is the fresh and ever so delightful in-house designed prints that come with each new collection.
Just like the versatile golden sugary stuff (think biscuits, ice cream, banoffee pie and if we’re really going to town with this, sweet caramelised bananas) the collection is comprised of pieces that can be styled up or down, caters for any age and all body types – just waiting to be gobbled up by the minimalists out there and totally devoured by the maximalists.
So, without further ado, (and without sounding too ridiculous), it’s time to get Caramelised…
