London’s West End is synonymous with dim sum, but New Yorkers RedFarm has blown our traditional idea out of the wok!
This is RedFarm’s first venture outside of Manhattan and with top restauranteur, Ed Schoenfeld guiding this ship to its present location, over three floors of a townhouse adjacent to Covent Garden’s Balthazar, this new dining hangout is certain to make an impact on the capital.
Wacky and tasty creations are the product of dim sum master Joe Ng.
Make no mistake, this is high end Asian dining but in a casual and fun setting and with New York’s influence never far away.
Traditional Chinese favourites and flavours are served alongside Pac Man shrimp dumplings and their famous pastrami egg roll. Small plate marinated meats are exquisite, you should not visit without sampling the spicy crispy beef, followed of course by a cheeseburger spring roll!
Cocktails are the appropriate accompaniment to Joe’s craftsmanship and are as interesting as the food. Served from one of RedFarm’s two bars, try one of five signature cocktails from New York, or just let their alchemists lead you through the adventure.
RedFarm is a non-reservation restaurant, however customers are encouraged to call or email to avoid queuing outside.
If you think you know dim sum, you don’t! RedFarm is pure Chinese genius with a real Manhattan pulse… If you love creative oriental cuisine, you’ll adore this!
