We know there’s nothing quite like a cold pint of classic Irish beer- especially on St. Patrick’s Day, but why not surprise family and friends and get creative. From cocktails to boozy milkshakes, we have six ways to spruce up your St. Paddy’s Day pint…
Guinness
Champagne
Fill the flutes halfway with Stout and top up with Champagne (using the back of a spoon helps whilst pouring the Champagne).
Patrick’s Punch Cocktail- by Female First
50ml Bacardi
75ml Guinness
Ginger beer
Pour the Bacardi into the glass and then add the Guinness.
To finish, top up with ginger beer and enjoy!
Guinness Black Magic Cocktail– by Super Golden Bakes
100ml Guinness draught
50ml bourbon
2 tsp grenadine (or sugar syrup)
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
5 fresh blackberries & extra to garnish
lime wedges to garnish
Muddle the blackberries, bourbon, grenadine and lime juice, shake with ice, pour into a glass with ice and stir in the Guinness. Garnish with lime wedge and blackberries.
Dublin Iced Coffee- by Bon Appetit
Strong cold-brew coffee
Guinness
Irish whiskey
Sugar syrup
Cream
Freshly grated cinnamon stick (for serving)
Mix coffee, stout, whiskey, and syrup in a highball glass. Add ice to fill. Gently pour in cream so it gradually sinks into coffee; sprinkle with cinnamon.
Irish Shots with Guinness, Baileys & Irish Whisky- by Let’s Go
1 bottle Guinness Stout
½ shot Baileys Irish Cream
½ shot Irish Whiskey
Pour Guinness into beer glass to about ⅔rds full. Fill shot glass with half Baileys Irish Cream and half Irish whiskey. Drop shot glass into beer and chug!
Boozy Guinness Ice Cream Floats- by Williams Sonoma
1 pint coffee ice cream
60 ml chocolate syrup
2 pints Guinness
Divide scoops of the ice cream between the glasses. Drizzle each serving with chocolate syrup, then top with Guinness.
