A love for travel, the desire to experience, ethical sustainable practices and beautiful design – these are the building blocks of Beshlie McKelvie. We could not be more excited to share with you Beshlie’s rebranding and gorgeous new handmade products.
Known for her stylish scarves, her collection has grown to encompass palm weaved baskets, Indigenous arts and Nomadic clothing for men, women and children.
Whilst building her label, Beshlie continues to be involved in raising awareness of marginalised people from around the world. This includes a collaboration with the not-for-profit organisation Sabbara, which provides support for displaced women affected by the ongoing conflict in Syria.
Growing up in a wildly bohemian house, surrounded by artists, musicians and gypsies, we were not surprised by Beshlie’s unique tales of living amongst the Kazakh eagle hunters in Outer Mongolia to working alongside the Ottomi and Huichol people of Mexico. You will now, more than likely, find her working on her divine scarves in a centuries old workshop deep in the dusty, wonderfully chaotic backstreets of Jaipur.
Interior trends come and go, but we think it’s safe to say Beshlie’s timeless products will totally update your home whilst being a serious conversation starter.
