Nestled in the heart of Soho, looking like a smart Parisian cafe, The Ivy Soho Brasserie is the latest offering by The Ivy Collection.
Opened earlier this year and situated on Broadwick Street, The Caperberry Collective were invited to take a look.
Inside, one is consumed by a faultless Art Deco interior. Walls are adorned with William Blake inspired ‘pop art’ and with a DJ playing through the weekend, this restaurant has really embraced its location.
Displaying such a big name, the Soho Brasserie has a lot to live up to and the food does not disappoint.
This is honest brasserie dining at its best, with a focus on contemporary British cuisine.
All the dishes were beautifully prepared and the waiting staff smart and perfectly attentive. Even in this location, this busy eatery has cleverly managed to keep a feeling of relaxed intimacy.
We recommend the steak tartare. Ready mixed, it was served under a glass box filled with the smoke from a section of charred Laphroaig barrel!
Open all day, every day this place is a little gem and is rapidly becoming one of my favourites.
