Up and coming brand Denim and Bone create taxidermy with a twist and prove that what you wear can be a work of art.
Putting their own unique spin on interior decor and embroidered jackets, Denim and Bone’s products will not fail to excite.
Artist and designer Daisy Harkness uses animal skulls such as deer, buffalo, bull, moose and longhorn as a unique focal point and transforms them from a dated form of taxidermy into stunning wall art. These eye-catching pieces are made to be the centrepiece of any stylish interior decor, from country homes to London townhouses and high end hotels.
From her studio in the Kent countryside, Daisy meticulously designs her skulls using an array of mixed media materials, including glass beading, handmade ceramics, glass mosaic, semi-precious stones and gold leaf.
Harkness also creates bespoke embroidered jackets. Using one of a kind embroidery made by in-house designers, Denim and Bone adorn vintage denim, leather and vegan leather jackets with stunning designs (as well as unique customisations) turning them into walking artworks.
Denim and Bone recently displayed pieces at Liberty London and sell online through interior design store Rockett St. George.
You can see Denim and Bone at this years Top Drawer exhibition in ‘Spotted’ curated by Charlotte Abrahams, in the London Olympia, September 2017.
