This summer, the V&A takes you behind the scenes of one of the most iconic Mexican artists. Bringing you a collection that has never before been exhibited outside Mexico.
Think beautiful, colourful and traditional Mexican clothing, hand-painted corsets, pre-Columbian necklaces that Frida strung herself and even the eyebrow pencil which she used to emphasise her signature (and very impressive) mono brow. All of this, as well as self-portraits and photographs offering a fresh perspective on her compelling life story.
