It might be deemed a bad habit, but recently when I wake up in the morning (before my two year old I kid you not!) I spend a good 7 minutes scrolling aimlessly through the world of Instagram. Now don’t go getting all high and mighty and bad habit-y on me, I have limited time before mentioned small child wakes up and I get too hungry to continue the infinite scroll of the ‘gram. This hunger is usually, if not always, thanks to the feed itself (‘scuse the pun). I see avo on toast after avo on toast, eggs, scrambled, poached, bagels, acai bowls in coconut shells, smoothies, I don’t need to tell you how endless the breaky menu is these days. It’s goooooood. Anyway, by the time I’ve reached the kitchen, I’m all out of ideas let alone ingredients and vow to make breakfasts like the ones everyone else seems to be devouring… Keep reading for more of what I’m talking about:
