After only a year into trading in the small, neighbourhood restaurant (shipping container!) in Brixton, Chef Will Bowlby and business partner Rik Campbell have taken on their most recent venture…
Kricket Soho opened at 12 Denman Street, Soho, earlier this month. The new restaurant specialises in modern Indian plates, continuing their offering of simple and accessible Indian dishes made with the best British seasonal ingredients available.
Influenced by regular trips to India, Kricket Soho’s extensive menu includes much-loved signature plates such as Samphire pakoras, Bhel Puri and Keralan Fried Chicken, as well as dishes made on a robata grill and breads, meats and fish baked to order in a clay tandoor. Cocktails take on parallel enthusiasm with flavours and aromas of India; from long and refreshing concoctions of
through to short blends of Rose and cardamom with tequila, pomegranate and orange.
Speaking at the opening of Kricket the young co-founders say: “We’re thrilled to have opened our second restaurant in Soho and couldn’t have hoped for a better spot. Much like Brixton, Soho is a unique and creative London hub that has great energy, vibrancy, a brilliant mix of people and ever-evolving food scene. We’re so excited to be a part of it and to bring our version of modern Indian cuisine to a wider audience.”
Definitely worth checking out!
