Each year as the weather warms up, we are drawn to the lure of the Med. From sipping a cold rosé from a balcony on a Positano cliff to dipping our toes in the crystal-clear waters of the Côte d’Azur, there is something to be said about how the Med simply insists you embrace the carefree-sun-soaked-afternoon-siestas lifestyle of the Europeans.
With summer in full swing, our thoughts immediately turn to swimwear… Now, if you haven’t already met, let us introduce Miné Mediterranean (which we’ve all agreed is a clear winner on the swimwear front this summer).
Think: Timeless and flattering, simple modern classics, ridiculously chic and ridiculously beautiful, all in natural, earthy, Mediterranean tones. Oh my.
New York-based, half-Turkish sisters and Founders of Miné Med – Sibel and Selina – are involved in every step of the production to ensure the highest quality standards. Using the finest Italian fabrics and working closely with local Turkish textile craftsmen as well as a premier manufacturer in New York City, the swimwear, Après Swim and Pestemal collection is a recipe of beautiful materials, flattering cuts and honest well-crafted designs.
We caught up with the talented duo about New York City, favourite Turkish dishes and their appreciation of the Med…

Sibel: That everyday that goes by you fall more in love with the city.
Selina: I love how every neighborhood is so different and unique in its own way.
