Sushi, Stews & Soup Supper Solutions (try saying that quickly!!)
Trying to be healthy but all you want is comfort food… We have the answer(s)!
This week, we’ve tested a few of these healthy, energising and also extremely comforting January supper solutions…
They seriously won’t let you down!
SPANISH CHICKEN STEW
This beautiful stew is the perfect dish to warm your cockles on these dark winter evenings. Think smoky chorizo, tender chicken and lots of garlic simmering in all that tomato and stock… And if you want to cut the fat content further, leave out the chorizo and add a little more smoked paprika.
GRILLED TUNA AND SOBA NOODLE BOWL
This amazing Asian inspired dish of grilled tuna, soba noodles, broccoli and edamame makes a delicious and well-balanced dinner full of protein and bursting with vitamins.
SIMPLE DECONSTRUCTED SUSHI BOWLS
Healthy, filling, Japanese flavours we all love, this recipe will quickly brighten up a cold January evening.
ASIAN NOODLE SOUP
An easy, light and very warming recipe that oozes fragrance and taste from the East.
GALIC-TAHINI INFUSED BROWN RICE BOWL
Incredibly nutritious and delicious, this well-balanced meal consists of brown rice, lentils, roasted sweet potato, aubergine, mushrooms and toasted pine-nuts all drizzled in a garlic-tahini dressing.
MY MOTHER’S PRAISED CHICKEN
Just because it’s Nigella, doesn’t mean there’s huge amounts of butter or lard thrown in! This chicken and rice dish is full of brothy goodness we all crave at this time of year… (and a splash of white wine never hurts!)
