Designed specifically for above-ground pools, this sand filter lateral assembly features a robust center pipe to ensure stable water flow and pressure. It effectively traps fine debris and impurities, preventing them from returning to your pool, thereby significantly improving water clarity and quality. A reliable replacement part to restore your filtration system to peak condition

Installation
1. Remove Old Sand & Clean Tank
Disconnect the filter from the pump. Remove all old sand and rinse the tank interior thoroughly with a hose to wash away residual debris.
2. Remove Old Lateral Assembly
Carefully lift the old pipe and lateral assembly straight up and out of the filter tank.
3. Install New Lateral Assembly
Insert the new lateral assembly into the tank, ensuring the center pipe is centered.
4. Add Water & Sand (Critical Step)
Fill the tank approximately half full with water to cushion the laterals.
Important: Tape the top opening of the center pipe to prevent sand from entering and clogging the laterals.
Slowly pour new filter sand into the tank around the pipe. Once filled, remove the tape.
