Description
This The Bear Essentials 6" x 1/2" Large Ferro Rod & Tungsten Striker Fire Starter Survival Kit, Reflective Paracord is a practical addition to any emergency fire starters setup, built for home, travel, and emergency readiness.
Key Features
- Striker + Sharpener - Our dual purpose Tungsten Carbide Striker sets a new standard for Ferro Rod kits. It sharpens tools and axes just as easily as it strikes sparks.
- A Soft Ferro Rod - Our Ferro Rod comes in at 6” with a 1/2" diameter. The composition of our rod allows for material to be easily shaved off, while throwing off a thicker and more intense shower of sparks.
- Beginner Friendly - The combination of our 6” Soft Ferro Rod and our full sized Tungsten Striker creates a forgiving product that doesn’t require the perfect technique to work. Ideal for those new to Ferro Rods or for experienced users looking for reliable performance in less than ideal conditions.
- Tinder on Hand - Ten Feet of Beeswaxed Hemp ensures you have a reliable source of waterproof tinder when you need it. Wrap it around the Ferro Rod for a comfortable handle and an abundant supply of spark catching tinder.
- Keep it Close, Keep it Safe - 12” of reflective paracord lanyard ensures this essential tool stays close. Wear it around your neck or wrap around your wrist for extra security when using.
- Burlap Storage - Everything fits neatly into its burlap sack for travel.
